Bootloader

I know that a bootloader will be added to the PIC compilers shortly, is there a dsPIC UART (or maybe CAN) bootloader in the immediate plans?

I didn't see dsPIC on the list. dsPIC has a completely different ASM, and though it is based on the PIC, is not even close to backward compatible. That is why I asked about this in particular. This will be a different bootloader, for a different platform. :x

Any news on this? With the PIC24s coming out, a bootloader will become a very valuable (almost essential) tool.

Update: I did a little checking, and it appears that the one mentioned above has a dsPIC version, and has been tested with certain dsPIC models. Would the compiler/linker output from mE dsPIC compilers work with this?

Bootloaders for dsPIC are planned for the next version.
