Frustration using Package manager
Frustration using Package manager
Wow, this tool is frustrating to use. I have downloaded it on Ubunut and it wouldn't work, downloaded it on a Mac and it wouldn't work. Will this thing only work on Windows? Once i get what I want extracted, I will move it over to Linux so I don't have to deal with it again. Why not simply package the SDK up as a tar file? Is one available somewhere?

Hello,
I'm sorry for the inconvenience it causes you, but the target OS of all of our compilers and software is Windows.
Perhaps you could try using some virtual machine software like OracleVM or Wine.
Kind regards,

Thank you for the response. I was able to find a Windows 10 machine to get it installed. I didn't realize that the use of the SDK is restricted to Mikro boards and tools, thought it was more a general purpose SDK I would be able to use with GCC on various platforms (with a HAL replacement). In the end, this kind of negates my ability to use it.
thank you for the response though.
