EasyPIC v8 not working with Visual GLCD

I have been struggling to make Visual GLCD work with EasyPIC v8.

Is this possible, or am I wasting my time?

I am using VGLCD dongle version 2.7.1 and MikroC for PIC version 7.6.0. PIC 18F47K42 32MHz from 8MHz crystal x4 PLL

Simple test project attached, but PORTE LEDs will not toggle. Had to create my own VGLCD project file, as EasyPIC 8 config seems to be unavailable.

Maybe I am doing something wrong? Any guidance gratefully received.

Hello,

Your calibration constants are not correct.
I added the calibration function and now it works fine.
Try to load the project from the attachment and let me know the result.

Manual calibration works perfectly.

Should have worked that out for myself, but when I work too long on a problem, it seems to cause blindness.

Solution is much appreciated, and I am very happy that Visual GLCD really does work on EasyPIC v8
