EasyAVR v7 released!
EasyAVR v7 is here. In a blink of an eye you can tell that it's the best AVR board ever!
It brings all the comfort of our seventh generation boards to Atmel® AVR® microcontrollers.
AVR® developers now have a powerful new tool, way more convenient than any before.
Equipped with on-board mikroProg™ In-system programmer it supports every single
AVR® chip in DIP packaging.
Dual power supply allows you to run both 3.3V and 5V peripherals.
Three mikroBUS™ sockets bring you the amazing flexibility of expanding your board
functionality with over 50 Click additional boards.
Display section features GLCD and LCD display connectors, as well as on-board
7-segment display. Port pins are grouped along with related LEDs and push buttons,
with additional tri-state DIP switches for quickly setting pull-up or pull-down resistors
on each pin. We provided three separate connectors for each PORT, so connectivity
is just amazing.
Board is rich with modules. It features RS-232 as well as USB-UART modules,
ADC input potentiometers, Serial EEPROM, Piezo Buzzer, sockets for DS1820 and LM35
temperature sensors, touchpanel controller, display backlight driver and more.
Rich set of documentation, as well as examples written in mikroC, mikroBasic
and mikroPascal compilers guarantee quick start and ease of use.
We have also prepared a set of great kits you might want to throw an eye on,
and equip yourself with the right tools.
EasyAVR v7 has a new fancy webpage
with lots of useful information including image gallery, and we invite you to go there
and get to know the board that will bring your AVR® development experience to
a whole new level!
Yours sincerely,
mikroElektronika

Re: EasyAVR v7 released!
Great great news. I'll get some ASAP.
Any news on when we might get a ICD (in circuit debugger) with it?

Re: EasyAVR v7 released!
Ordered it and got it. Great.
But... I cannot find the Examples for the EasyAVR v7.
The examples for EasyAVR v6 do not fit and it is a lot of work to get into the code and the schematic of v6 to change the examples.
When will the v7 examples be available?
Cu Wim.
Edit: Examples found. Sorry.

Re: EasyAVR v7 released!
I want to fix the LCD and the GLCD with screws to create a firm connection.
Which screw size to you advice?
Cu Wim.

Got it yesterday. WOW!!!! Sex on PCB board. Just needs a ICD and life starts to get exciting.
These are my REQUIRED board now for all my students. I'm just as happy as can be.

Re: EasyAVR v7 released!
Hi,
Thank you for the kind words regarding the EasyAVR7 board.
@WimC56,
You can use M4 screw for this purpose.
As for the ICD, it unfortunately not supported on this board.
Regards,
Filip
