Powering mikroMMB for dsPIC33 with a single 1.5V AA battery
We were testing the power supply options of our new mikroMMB boards.
We have already shown you that powering the board with solar panels is a possible option.
But using Battery Boost Board you can even power the board with a single AA battery.
Although current consumption is higher than we expected, it still can be done.
Depending on your application battery lifetime may vary, but don't use a single battery as a long term power supply option.
For longer battery life we still recommend you to use 2 x 1.5V AA batteries connected in series.
Yours sincerely,
mikroElektronika Team
