what would be REALLY great would be a Eclipse plugin set.

Eclipse works well, it supports a ton of plugin (svn!), and work on many OSes.

Even if it only works under Windows it'd be great.

mikroC for PIC is great, combining it's features with Eclipse's would be best of both worlds.
