USB HOST TO MIKROMEDIA BOARD FOR 24F

#1 Post by Prof.Wagner » 09 Jan 2012 19:58

Hi All,

I developed a product using mikromedia board for 24F and I need now to use the USB port in host mode(OTG).
I am using MikroBasic but the examples of USB OTG from Microchip is in C language.
Does Mikroeletronika have examples of USB OTG in MikroBasic? I intend to attach a USB bar code reader in this port.

Thank you in advanced.

Hello,

At this moment we do not have library for USB on the Go.
But we are working on this and we will provide it in near future.

Best regards.

Hello,

At the moment, we are working on USB library.
Very soon (most probably this week) we will release first version of this library and with USB library we will also provide road map for all architectures.
This new USB lib, should support USB Device (more classes) and USB host.

Best regards.

Hi Prof Wagner,
You can find a mikroPascal version of an MSD (memory stick) only host (http://www.libstock.com/projects/view/4 ... st-library). It should also be usable with mB.
But I assume the bar code reader is not an MSD device (I think it is an USB device?).
Kind regards, Dany.

Now I can see it on the main page, Thanks a lot :)

But it is for ARM. Will there be a library for pic24 where OTG can be managed ?

Hello,

This is just start.
New USB library will be improved with HOST option very soon, and later we will provide support for other architectures.

Best regards.
