compiler hang at startup

Hi

i had this problem from the beggining but never report it
when i start mikroBasic ver 7.1.0 for dsPIC , practially all the times
loads everything
then initial pop window says "initializing" then usually but not always hangs fro some time,
sometimes when the delay is very big a message appear's to bottom about "a server that failed to connect"
closing above window compielrs starts

this behavious do NOT happens with basic for PIC32 4/AVR7.1/PIC7.2

Could you try disabling Automatic Updates in Tools/Options/IDE/Settings?

i disable automatic updates AND load last project no diffirence

Hi,

Try to open the IDE by opening a project file rather than the compiler .exe itself.

strange ...
i try with opening projectr and started in less than a minute.

however since the morning i try direct opening again and works the same (<minute)...

anyway since this bug is known for months should be fixed ASAP ..with a hotfix and NOT in the next update... its very annoying and time consuming...
