IDE bugs

#1 Post by arco » 08 Aug 2019 20:22

When will all the bugs in the IDE editor finally be fixed? (this century?... :( )
Most bugs are there for more as five years and are very annoying...

Discovered a new one: CTRL-Z (undo) is totally corrupt. It only messes up your screen.
Regards,

Peter.

Hello,

Could you provide me with more details about your issue?
I tested Ctrl+Z (undo) in mikroBasic for dsPIC v7.1.0 and it works fine.
Can you tell me which version of the compiler you are using?

Kind regards,
Jovana

I've got same version.
It really happens a lot (though sometimes it works OK). The restored text formatting is wrong.
I'll try to make an example showing it.
(but this is only one of the dozens of bugs in the editor. None is addressed ever...)
Regards,

Peter.

Example:

Enter one line. Enter a second line,
Position cursor at end of line one, and type 10 spaces.
Now press 'Delete' key. Screen gets messed up. Pressing Ctrl-Z makes the chaos complete...

Code: Select all

This is line one
This is line two

Peter.
