OSC2 Pin Function in Edit Project changes itself

#1 Post by karl567 » 25 Apr 2018 08:50

Hi,
I have a strange issue.

Sometimes the OSC2 Pin Function in Edit Project changes itself from "general purpose" to "clock output". I always have to look first if this setting has changed before I build the project. Until now I could not retrace when this happens. But it happens often. This can not be normal!!

Best regards,
Karl

Hi,

Of course this cannot be normal behavior, but I am having difficulties reproducing this issue.
Could you please tell me if there a specific sequence of actions that I must take before this happens ?

Regards,
Filip.

Hi Filip,

- Start mikroPascal
- OSC2 Pin function is general I/O
- Tools/Options/EditorSettings: click on Restore All Opened Files
- click Apply and OK and close EditorSettings
- OSC2 Pin has changed!!!!

This is the way I reproduced it today, perhaps you can reproduce the behaviour playing with other settings.

By the way, the Option 'Restore All Opened Files' does not work in v7-0-1.
Whatever I set, I must restore my files manually. Perhaps there is a relation to the OSC2-Error?
My files are on a NAS device, but this should not be the source for my problems.

Regards,
Karl

Sometimes when editing and then saving (Ctrl S) my decl.mpas (without rebuilding) the OSC2 function changes also.
