Good that it worked with the I/P's.
It is wierd with those other chips.
If you get any answer for the reason, I would like to know the problem/difference.

Okay ;) I hope you will fix this problem. I somtimes have the same problems, and I do these things: Check for any signals disturbing the chip (Lcd, glcd, Ps/2, etc.) Check for correct settings of jumpers on the board. Turn off the board and wait 20sec and turn on again. In most of the cases it fixes...

Yes I know, but I mean the program you use to program on your easypic 5 board, it is called picflash.

I found it on microchip, it was just me that had trouble finding it.
I can't see why It shouldn't work with your programmer.
I'm sorry, but I can't seem to find any problems.
Have you updated the picflash?

Hm... That is wierd.
Well, there shouldn't be a difference between those to microcontrollers.
Where did you buy them? I can't find any with the suffix 20/P at microchip.com.

Try check if the correct socket is chosen on the board.

Well, If I was you, I would test your code with both and then see how many ROM/RAM it uses with the different ways.

I have worked with the normal mmc libary, and I will now go further to mmc_fat libary. My first program is just to make a txt file without any data written in, just to see that it works. The problem is, that when I load the code to my microcontroller on my board, it don't execute any of the commands...

I think it was that.
I'm etching a board again, and I will post again in like 30 minutes or something with new results.

Hi again,
I just checked my card, and it's completely wrong with the connections.
So I will make a new board and then I will try again.
Luckely the card has not taken any damage of the wrong connections.

Okay, I have added a 10K2 pull down resistor on DO and DI on the mmc, and then I also added a 4,7uF electrolytic so close to the SD as possible. But It still doesn't detect the card? Maybe my board is not correct? Have any checked for correction on my layout in the first post? And does you have to d...

Hi,
I will try to do that when I get home from school.
I use a LM317 regulator that gives me an output of 3.5V for both the microcontroller and the MMC.
I couldn't get it closer to 3.3V, but I guess it is okay with a little bit to high voltage.

Thanks,

Simon H.A.
